Roanoke Higher Education Center
Since 2000, The Roanoke Higher Education Center (RHEC) has been dedicated to stimulating economic growth in the greater Roanoke area by providing greater access to education. RHEC is known throughout the Greater Roanoke Region for the vibrant, collaborative workforce training, higher education, and life-long learning programs offered by our member institutions. In an effort to better meet the needs of our workforce community, the RHEC is pleased to add OSHA training courses and educational programs to their list of course options. This new initiative is intended to help broaden worker and employer knowledge on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. These training’s will better enable businesses in the Roanoke Valley to be in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and ultimately create safer work environments for our citizens.
